I should have posted this earlier but here it is anyway! Danger and I went on a short hike around Warren Wilson College on New Year's Eve. We have just been walking around camp this past month, well, longer than that really. The fall was so busy for us we didn't get out and explore other trails or have adventures off of camp. In fact, until Christmas morning I haven't really left the general radius of Black Mountain/ Asheville since the beginning of August! Crazy! I must say, we live in a great place to not be able to leave for 4 1/2 months and still remain not only sane, but joyful. It was so refreshing to just be on a new and different trail though. I always enjoy my conversations with Bryce. What an amazing man I am married to. We had a great time and will do some more exploring hopefully soon! Go outside and play...chores can wait for another day.

We hiked on a road the last bit to get back to our car.
It was worth it since we could make a loop out of it that way.
This was before our big storm yesterday. There was still
snow from Christmas weekend but it wasn't too much.
