10 months seems like a big one because I know how big the change can be this next month. We have really enjoyed the last couple of weeks and how Tuolumne is becoming more of an active member of this family. We are slowly but surely leaving the baby stage and moving on up in our exploration of life! Here are a few thing we jotted down last week when she turned 10 months.
- Started to crawl at 9 months and 3 weeks old
- Gives high fives
- Signs more and a version of all done but only at times
- Says momma, bubba, dadda (not sure or not if you are saying actual words or just sounds)
- Started trying to pull up on things before you crawled
- You also could go from all fours to sitting before you could crawl
- Crawling exploded your world! Your mind is turning and going on high speed. I love it!
- You do this gymnast type move where you try to go from sitting to standing without holding onto anything. One day it will work and your persistence and hard wok will pay off.
- Your top 4 teeth are showing pretty good now:)
- This month you have decided that 5 is the new 7am. We do not like this and ask you to please stop. We leave you in bed talking away till about 6 or until your almost past your happy place.
- You had some RSV this month and you were miserable for a couple weeks
- I took your socks off one night and noticed you had a pretty good sock tan going on from just being outside a couple of times. You are going to have a dark complexion
- Your nickname this month is destroyer. I don't mean this in a bad way because I love your desire to conquer and rid the "fill in the blank" of all of its belongings. :)
- You do a great job riding whether it is in a stroller, car, ergo or hiking backpack. You are okay just hanging out when we are on the move.
- We added some egg yoke and peanut butter to your food this month along with a little of this and that on our plate. Arriving to the peanut butter age makes me one happy mom!
Keep up the good work Tuolumne. I love you!
